ETF Capital Markets Specialist

Position Summary:
The ETF Capital Markets Specialist will contribute to the leadership of the ETF business at Natixis Investment Managers. The key day-to-day ETF work responsibilities include oversight of daily ETF trading spreads, addressing all ETF trading questions, managing market maker relationships, presenting to financial advisors, contributing to product research & development initiatives and coordinating with internal investment teams on primary market creations/redemptions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee ETF trading spreads
- Manage Lead Market Maker, Supplemental Market Maker and Authorized Participant (AP) relationships
- Collaborate with Custodian, medallion distributor and primary listing exchanges
- Consult on all ETF launches and liquidations, covering ETF Capital Markets topics in collaboration with listing exchanges and internal teams
- Partner internally with Fund Administration on Board of Trustees & Internal Committee reporting and certain affiliates on ETF file transfers
- Act as one of the main points of contact for the Sales team on trading and liquidity related needs
- Run reporting to help Sales target prospects
- Interact with financial advisors to provide execution guidance
- Manage ETF custom basket trading in partnership with affiliates
- Lead maintenance of ETF Capital Markets Policies, Procedures and any document retention
- Facilitate ETF seed capital investing and seed recalls
- Create trading-related thought leadership for Natixis website and for social media
- Review website regularly to ensure ETF data is complete and optimal
- Potential to lead projects and perform product research on ETFs and other vehicle types such as mutual funds, SMAs, or institutional vehicles; potentially support broader firm research around trading and trade rotation policies
Qualifications:
- Impeccable ethical standards
- Minimum 3 years of ETF operations/trading experience, with a focus on ETF Capital Markets and the surrounding competitive landscape
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing
- Strong financial analysis skills with a passion/interest in the equity, fixed income and options markets
- Self-motivated, flexible, proactive with a team-oriented approach
- Organized and structured work approach with an ability to prioritize
- Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg proficiency
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 is required within 6 months of hire
